UNICEF partners with big companies and uses their data to uncover patterns and create global policies that improve children’s lives. But the platform that actually does the work, formerly known as "Data Collaboratives", was an unknown entity under the behemoth of UNICEF. With no real name or awareness, it was hard to build community and connect with more businesses.


What's more, big corporate data is a maze, too challenging to navigate alone. Enter 'Marble'.

“Marble: Big Data For Every Child”

We took inspiration from children’s marble maze games to create a brand identity that visualized how big data can help UNICEF do bigger things. The custom typeface, ‘Maze Sans’, is made up of three weights of varying complexity, representing how the combination between big data and research science can create pathways to solve issues children face.
